A refined Danish porcelain Christmas plaque, part of the historic annual series by Bing & Grøndahl, now part of the renowned Royal Copenhagen. Designed by Jørgen Nielsen , the 2007 edition depicts Santa Claus immersed in the magical atmosphere of the forest during the "Juletrædans," the traditional dance around the Christmas tree.
The motif, executed with the elegant underglaze blue technique, adopts the classic blue and white color palette, a hallmark of Danish ceramic art. A blend of Nordic tradition and Christmas poetry, rendered on porcelain with timeless grace.
